Berkhof, Louis. Systematic Theology (Grand Rapids: Eerdmans, 1996). A classic Reformed systematic theology book; Berkhof covers all the main points of belief in our theological understanding.

Calvin, John. The Institutes of the Christian Religion, edited by John McNeill, Library of Christian Classics. (Philadelphia: Westminster, 1960). The standard for Reformed, Protestant theology.

Hodge, Charles. Systematic Theology. A Presbyterian and Reformed work of tremendous gravity.

Inerrancy, Ed. Norman Geisler (Grand Rapids: Zondervan, 1980).

D. Kelly, If God Already Knows, Why Pray? (Fearn, Scotland: Christian Focus, 1996). A scholarly look at the necessity – and power – of prayer.

Packer, James I. Knowing God (Downers Grove, IL: InterVarsity, 1979). This book serves as a fine introduction to the faith.
